What is the SJE "Bookkeeping Accelerator" mentorship program?
Bookkeeping Accelerator is a mentorship program for new and aspiring bookkeepers who want to understand the accounting behind the entries they’re making. Sharon Eilart at SJE Bookkeeping works with you on foundational skills like chart-of-accounts structure, clean transaction coding, and month-end close, then moves into accrual vs. cash accounting, adjusting journal entries, depreciation, and COGS. You also practice explaining financial results to clients in plain English.
How is the Bookkeeping Accelerator program delivered?
The program runs as 12 one-hour live workshops on Zoom. Every session is live rather than pre-recorded, so you can ask questions in the moment, bring real client situations to the group, and get answers specific to what you’re working on. Private mentorship sessions are also available if you want mentorship built around your own goals and experience level.
Do I need an accounting degree or prior experience to join a bookkeeping mentorship?
